Orc

Orc
The DamnedLuca Signorelli - 1499–1504

The First Orcs were brought into existence by ancient elven magics, meant to serve as war machines against the humans. Their endurance and fortitude were undeniable, but the first legion deployment turned on their elven commanders and escaped deep into the mountains. There they found a higher purpose for their thicker bones: dragon riding. The Algaian Empire very well may have conquered the world if not for the devastating dragon raids carried out by orcish riders.

Now, orcs and dragons live in shared communities throughout the material plane. Dragons offer flight, wisdom, and defense, while Orcs offer delicious cooked meals, co-pilot spell-casting, and scratches in just the right spots.

Orcs are resilient, thrill-seeking, and don't take lightly to those who would seek to centralize power.

Privacy

This site has no signup, sends no email, carries no analytics or advertising trackers, and never asks for your real name, your address, or a payment card.

If nobody has sent you a claim link, the site holds nothing about you: your character is saved in your own browser and never reaches the server.

If your DM has sent you a claim link, the server holds your display name, your characters and their save history, the dates you joined and last visited with a count of visits, and a scrambled copy of your recovery phrase. It holds them so your character follows you between devices. That is the service, and the legitimate interest it relies on. One cookie keeps you signed in; there are no others.

At the table, you can let your figure light up while you talk.It is off unless you turn it on, and your browser asks you first. Your microphone is measured for when you are speaking and never for what you are saying: the sound is examined in your own browser and never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere, and the only thing that reaches the table is “talking” or “not talking”, which nothing writes down. It stops the moment you turn it off, leave the table, or take the permission back in your browser.

Your DM can read and edit your characters. Cloudflare hosts the site and the database on servers in North America, and GitHub holds a private nightly backup, both under their standard UK transfer terms. Nothing is sold, shared, or used to train anything.

Your account is kept until your DM removes it, which deletes everything above. Backups taken before that day persist for a while in the private archive.

Your account page can export everything the server holds for you, or delete your account outright. Your sheet is yours to correct at any time.

Questions go to the DM who sent your invite link; there is no company behind this site. If you are in the UK and think your information has been mishandled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
